Trying not to forget the meaning of Christmas this year! It's only the 16th and already it's been a crazy busy month of birthday parties, Christmas shopping, and getting ready for Blake. This weekend isn't promising to be any less busy with two sets of out of town guests and another birthday party, but hoping we can take some time out to relax. I think I've been a little overly stressed lately.
Hard to believe that next weekend is Christmas! December has flown by faster than normal this year. I distinctly remembering it dragging on and on when I was a kid...but then again I was anxiously counting down the days until I could open my presents back then! :P

OH boy.
What a day/week/month. I don't know if it's the weather, or the impending Christmas holiday or what, but all of the sudden my normally cheerful toddler has turned into a whiny mess. It's almost as if someone told him that he's turning two VERY SOON and must whip himself into Terrible Two mode! In fact, that is what I'm going to blame it on. Darn Birthday Gnomes, out to wreck my day ;)
Although I barely survived my 37 week OB appt without any tears (thank you crabby Logan), I did get the check up stats:
1/2 cm dilated (boo!)
60% effaced
-2 station
So...nothing great. But since it was Dr. Stoddard who checked me this morning, I keep hoping that she magically stirred something up down there; after all, she was the last OB I saw before I went into labor with Logan (granted, that was at a 39 week appt but a girl can dream, right?!). Here's to hoping labor comes sooner than later! Just to get those good labor vibes a comin' I put in all the newborn clothes in the washer. Maybe I'll put Logan in the stroller and go for a nice long walk this afternoon too! If nothing else I'll end up with some much needed clean laundry and a good work out :)
