The littlest munchkin

This week marks 26 weeks for our littlest guy! I wish I could say that this pregnancy is flying by...but to be honest, I'm trying my darndest to just slow down and enjoy what will be (knock on wood) my last pregnancy since it seems like it's kind of dragging right now. I've hit that period where I no longer just look chubby (well, actually I do kind of look like that too, haha) but actually look pregnant. And I know a ton of ladies that love that preggo look...but I'm not one of them. I like it when all of my clothes fit normally, lol. I tried my hardest to wear my usual go to outfit (jeans and a shirt) with the boys but this time around I'm slowly giving in more and more to the comfy tee + yoga pants combo. I can't resist the comfort over style when I'm chasing after 2 wild men!

I've been feeling him move a lot lately! He's an active little guy like his middle brother. He's active a lot at night and early morning, which worries me a little :P I could really use a good newborn sleeper this time around, haha! He absolutely hates spicy food (and yes, that includes Chipotle, sad face) and loves chocolate and fruit (oranges and apples, to be specific). The chocolate is probably going to do me in this time...

Logan is 4! (a little late)

Can't believe I now have a FOUR year old. That just seems insanely crazy to me :) time is flying by!

My favorite Loganisms of the week:

*As we passed the underwear/nightgown section of Target (which is now done up in Valentine's Day lingerie, of course), Logan stops, backs up, and squeezes the stuffed bra part of a pink lace teddy.
"Hey Mama, this is a nice pink dress for you!"
hahaha.

*I made crescent rolls to go with dinner one night, and Logan asked "Is this called a blanket? Where is the pig that goes inside?"

Since I did a little survey about what Logan liked best when he turned 3, here it is for age 4!

His personality: he is such a goofball! Crazy and unpredictable, loving and sweet all at the same time. He loves to randomly tell us how much he loves us, his brother, and his grandparents...and then shower us with hugs and kisses at the most random times (the middle of dinner, while playing, watching a movie). He's loud and definitely makes his presence known no matter where he is...and he talks to anyone and everyone. He's going to be like my Papa Jake was - stop and tell his life story to the bank teller :)

His favorite toys and things to do: his fave is still his Disney Cars and race tracks! By now we have about 30 thousand of them (ok, I kid, but it's probably close). He also loves his Octonauts Octopod, Imaginext castle, games and puzzles, painting, Playmobil zoo, dress up/imaginary toys (pirate sword, camera, safari hat, telescope), playing basketball, riding his bike and scooter.

His favorite places to go: the 'workout park' as he calls it, the mall play area (seriously, he probably asks to go here at least 3 or 4 times a week), school (says he wants to go every day), his friends' houses (he's always asking if we can go to someone's house), and his grandparents' and cousins' houses.

He loves to eat: still Chipotle rice & beans! He also loves carrot sticks and red peppers with ranch, chips & salsa, salad (especially the 1905 Columbia salad), peanut butter and jelly dinosaur sandwiches, yogurt, strawberries, pancakes, pizza (especially pepperoni), chicken tacos, pasta with parmesan cheese, and apples. And of course, chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream ;)

His favorite shows/movies: The Magic School Bus, Wild Kratts, Secret Agent Oso, Octonauts, and any of the Leapfrog shows (Math Goes to the Moon, the Rhyming Words one). As for movies...Cars 2, Monsters Inc, Veggietales Pirates Who Don't Do Anything, Tigger Movie, and Planes.

Favorite books: this one changes a lot since he's discovered how much fun it is to pick out books at the library (and then obsessively read them for 3 weeks til they have to be returned!). But lately he really likes The Little Mermaid, 101 Dalmatians, any of the Mercer Mayer books, anything to do with animals. He loves to read and switches it up a lot.

His favorite colors: orange and red.
